The Machrie Hotel and Golf Links

Chelsom worked with interior design team at Peter Young Design to create the lighting scheme for the renovation and expansion of the Machrie Hotel and Golf Links in Islay, nestled beside seven miles of pristine beach in the Inner Hebrides.

Striking Galaxy chandeliers were specified for the luxury 18 restaurant fitting perfectly with the aesthetic of the space and the height of ceilings. The statement three tiered chandeliers feature a series of frosted acrylic diffusing cylinders supported by shallow flat rings giving warm LED light.

The sophisticated interior scheme is replicated in the stunning guestrooms and suites. Contemporary pieces from Chelsom’s current lighting collection were specified including Bullet floor lamps, Berlin table lamps and Study desk lamps ensuring a seamless fusion of design and functionality to meet the ever growing demands of the guestroom requirements.
