Working with the design team at Helen Hooper Interiors, Chelsom supplied the lighting for the guestrooms and reception areas of the 4-star Mercure Brighton Seafront Hotel. The lighting scheme for this Grade II listed hotel features a range of decorative fittings from Chelsom’s latest collection carefully selected to complement the impressive Victorian building and its period features whilst meeting the multi-functional requirements of the modern day guestroom.

Handsome Regent chandeliers in English Brass with Clear glass chimneys were selected to take centre stage in the guestrooms, supplemented with striking mouthblown Aqua glass table lamps fashioned from original 1960’s artisan moulds. A selection of reading, wall and table lamps from the current collection were also selected to further enhance the guestroom interior scheme. Knurled LED Dock reading lights in Brushed Brass were specified for the bedside in addition to Direct wall lights in Black Bronze with walnut wood and Chrome Boston wall lights paired with Gunmetal shades with the scheme completed by Roma table lamps featuring perforated metal shades in Golden Bronze with Satin Black metalwork. Stunning Florentine Antique Gold Leaf chandeliers add a touch of decadence to the public areas featuring hand-formed metal palm leaves that allow light to emit through pierced slots as well as giving a warm glow for a highly ambient light effect.
