Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living, one of London’s most exclusive addresses now features a stunning bespoke lighting scheme from Chelsom, the leading UK supplier of decorative contract lighting.

Created by world-renowned designers Woods Bagot, the interior theme exudes luxury, elegance and sophistication. The lighting follows suit with an inspired use of bespoke feature shades for all apartments and reception areas. All the light fittings are energy efficient, a pre-requisite of Woods Bagot schemes.

Hanging regally in the reception area, three giant drum shades in rich deep matt black with warm cream linings and base diffusing discs offer a striking welcome to the apartment’s reception.

Within each apartment, custom-manufactured oblong shades in black silk are suspended over all the dining tables, with matching fittings behind the seating in the lounge areas. Supported by polished chrome frames, the shaded fittings offer ample lighting and visual focus whilst taking up minimal space in the highly contemporary living space.

The iconic Chelsom Hub cap lamp has been used on all the desks while polished nickel floor lamps are placed at the end of the sofas in every apartment.

The lighting piece de resistance in this prestigious scheme are Fez-style cascades hanging against the wall in the Penthouse lounges. Providing an element of fun, fine quality blackglass shades are suspended at random heights and finished off with red rope ties.

Each of the 133 luxury residences including four penthouse suites, are stylishly contemporary and spacious, offering everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. To ensure all design intent was met within the specified budgets, Chelsom worked closely with purchasing group Argenta Projects.
