Contunav/Tanit cruise ship

Chelsom supplied a variety of bespoke designed cruise ship lighting for the Tanit cruise ship built in Okpo in the city of Geoje, Korea.

In the public areas, specially designed Moroccan style lanterns and wall brackets feature bright glass inserts enhanced by dark metalwork. In contrast, the lounge areas feature a custom designed version of the sparkle pendant which teams graduated octagon glass drops with silver finished metalwork.  Bespoke bathroom lighting, specially designed wall brackets and a unique chrome pendant were supplied for other areas of the ship. All fittings were adapted for marine use.

Working alongside Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering Co Ltd and CTN Tunisia, Chelsom’s export manager Jon Shaw visited the shipyard in Korea to finalise details.
