Chelsom strengthen global sales team with appointment of Business Development Manager for The Americas

Further to the recruitment of a European Business Development Manager at the end of last year, Chelsom continues to expand its overseas sales team with the appointment of Adrian Baldry as Business Development Manager for the Americas following continued success in the USA.

 The new appointment accompanies an increase in sales across the global hotel, cruise and leisure sectors in addition to a series of high-profile project wins in the USA including Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire, Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach, Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Hyatt Regency Conroe and Four Seasons Minneapolis.

With a professional background centred around the marine and USA markets specifically, Adrian has spent the last 7 years working as a sales representative for IMO wallcoverings where he has built a strong rapport with leading marine operators including Disney, Carnival Cruise Lines, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines & Holland America. Adrian’s career to date has seen him spend a considerable amount of time in America which has provided him with valuable exposure to the market and armed him with the necessary experience to succeed in this competitive environment.

Based in the UK, Adrian will be working closely with Sales Director, Julia Brogan, to create effective sales strategies that build on all the hard work the team have been putting into raising the company’s profile in the States. As well as managing and supporting Chelsom’s ever-growing network of USA agents, Adrian will regularly travel to America to meet with leading interior designers, architects and hotel operators.
