Cambridge City Hotel

Chelsom were commissioned to supply the lighting as part of the redesign of Cambridge City Hotel. At the specification of Bevis Design Associated Ltd, fittings from Chelsom’s standard collection were chosen for the guestrooms along with a selection of bespoke pieces designed to enhance the elegant interior scheme created throughout.

Bespoke fittings were created for the bedside with contemporary lines and clean shapes at the forefront. In both the Executive and Standard rooms oversized cylindrical shades suspended from Chrome up and over arms provide a stylish bedside lighting solution projecting  soft white ambient lighting, coupled with energy efficient LED Reading Lights in Polished Chrome to provide stylish yet functional lighting for the bedside. Executive rooms feature customised variations of Floor Lamps and Desk Lamps from the Trip and Shady collections respectively, whilst the Standard rooms feature Polished Chrome Floor Lamps from the Avenue range along with contemporary Desk Lamps from the Angle range featuring adjustable arms which can be easily positioned to offer optimum light output. Bespoke rectangular mirrors were made for the bathrooms featuring LED light sources with illuminated side panels.
