In a sumptuous scheme created by interior specialists Cunningham McLean, Chelsom lighting has been used throughout this newly refurbished hotel, a supreme recreation of Victorian opulence.

Specially finished in rich penny bronze, the fittings blend seamlessly into the traditional interior, adding an air of aged quality to furnishings which appear steeped in history. Bowed floor standards featuring tapered columns and telescopic height adjusters, support slubbed silk shades which hover above the oversized seating in the Bar and Stuart Lounge, while striking sculptured lamps flank the sofas.

A far cry from its early role as a war-time armed forces hospital, the 60 bedroom Hydro has undergone a major £10m refurbishment bringing it back to its Victorian splendour.  Set within 10 acres of private landscaped grounds, the luxurious 4 star Dunblane Hydro is the latest addition to the Hilton Doubletree brand.
